Marney: Blog Of The Day

In 1863  Sarah Joseph Hale wanted to change the fourth Thursday of November.  She wanted to celebrate Thanksgiving.  Because it was just a normal boring day. So then she wrote a letter to Lincoln and gave him it  and Lincoln said that there can be a holiday and it would be called Thanksgiving.
When Lincoln said that he would everyone started to listen.  They stopped the war for two seconds.  Lincoln gave his speech and everyone liked the idea but some people did not.  They said okay, and some people said no why I do not like the idea.  There were some fights and there were some groups that did not fight.
