Avery: Civil War Letter

Hello son.  How are things going in the Civil War?  Has anyone died or gotten hurt yet?  Are you okay?  Do people there call you Mr. Brooks or do they just call you by your first name?  Right now I'm setting up for dinner.  We are going to have a small turkey, because my hunting skills are getting weaker.  Amelia promised me that she would stuff the turkey and cook all the food.  She could make a really good wife.  She works really hard around the house, just like she should.  All I do to set up is working out, so that I can eat on an empty stomach.  Also I think I might put on a few pounds after eating that food.  Amelia and I miss and love you very much.
