Avery: Blog Of The Day

The Inca Civil War, or as some people call it, The War of Two Brothers, began in 1529.  It was between two brothers.  They were fighting over who got the throne after their father passed away in 1527.  Their names were Huascar and Atahualpa, the sons of Huayna Capac.  Huascar and Atahualpa were not born from the same mother.  Atahualpa had pure, Royal blood of a king.  His brother had normal blood, nothing fancy.
Huascar thought he should take the throne, because he thought he was a better leader.  He thought that he could keep everything more organized and healthy.  He said that Atahualpa was a terrible person and that someone like him shouldn't be ruling the Incas.  Atahualpa thought that he should take the throne, because he already worked with soldiers.  He thought that he could make the army men work harder and accomplish more.
The War lasted for many, many years.  It lasted until 1532!  There wasn't much going on in it though.  There was much arguing and a little fighting. They would give each other death threats to kill them, and/or their friends.
After the whole thing was over it ended up with Huascar winning and taking the throne, as the royal king.  After the war, his younger sister made a deal with him that she will hire people to protect him 24/7.  They knew that their Step-brother was out to get Huascar.  They knew he was going to attempted to kill him at some point.
