The kids already know this, but I'm in the process of writing a novel for them tentatively titled "The Norns' Quest." It's a weird post-apocalyptic fantasy story with ties to Norse mythology, but I don't want to give too much of it away. But the kids are excited to know that there are going to be characters in it inspired by each of them. I've only got about 8,500 words written right now, and I'm still only at the beginning, but I'm really happy with what I've written. And Mommio is proofreading it for me as I write, and she likes the story a lot so far.
