Adopting monkeys is a terrible idea.  The only good thing about it is it makes the people happy.   Look, the civilized world is no place for a simian unless it is in the zoo or a nice wild life refuge.  Our civilization just isn't a monkey's natural habitat.  Monkeys should either be allowed to roam free in the jungles of Africa or the zoos of every country, but not in the streets and not in human homes.  Humans are kidnapping these wild animals and sending the all over the country.  Monkeys may look cute, but can be very dangerous in that they could bite, kick, hit or scream/screech- the last of these would severely damage your ears.  In conclusion you may have to be half mad to want a simian in your home after reading something like this.
