Connor: Blog Of The Day

Well the monkey goes away from the zoo only to go back because the outside world is to complicated for him.  The monkey wished to enjoy the same freedom as humans, but couldn't enjoy much of it for he was unable to get a job that pays cash.  I think the monkey is sad at the end of the poem because he ends up exactly were he started.  I think the message the author is trying to get across to the readers is try new things and if that doesn't work out stick to what you're best at.
