Outside Fort Duquesne

I am a British soldier and I have survived the attack on the Fort Duquesne.  What happened was that we were marching and heading to destroy the fort.  We were led by General Edward Braddock.  We were almost there when suddenly the French and Indians attacked us.  They killed most of the men and they killed Edward Braddock. I am one of the lucky ones who survived it.
How I felt about it was I felt sad that most of the men died and that Edward Braddock died.  I felt mad at the French and want to kill them.  I hope we win this war.
I really miss my home and my loved ones.  If I survive this war I will go see them.
