Alligator
The name of my animal is the Alligator. The name of the animal it evolved from is the Geosaurus, meaning rock lizard. It was ten feet long and it was not a dinosaur. How the Alligator and the Geosaurus are the same is they both have sharp teeth and a pointed jaw. How they are different is that the Geosaurus had four flippers and a tail fin.
