Connor: Blog Of The Day

This portrait is called The Blue Boy.  Painted by an eighteenth century artist known as Thomas Gainsborough.  Gainsborough had painted this portrait to beat another artist who had made a portrait of Charles II as a young boy.  I think this is a great work of art and it is cool that they have it at a museum in California.  Just so you know this work of art was made in 1770.
