Help me!  I've been kidnapped by a very large, ugly, blond man.  He is threatening to throw me off a ladder.  As of this writing, I am alive and well, but I don't know how much longer I can last.  He said I will meet my doom tomorrow.   Please save me.  And hurry...it's cold and dark in here, and I don't know how much longer I can last.  Sincerely, Eggbert.
