Yesterday you were book detectives and had to find a classic novel from my hints. To continue the literature theme, today I want you to write a biography of one of Western literature's most famous authors: Charles Dickens. Dickens wrote a TON of books, and was very famous when he was alive for some of his classics like A Tale of Two Cities or Great Expectations.
So for today's blog post, I want you to use google, factmonster or wikipedia to learn about Charles Dickens and then write one or two paragraphs about his life. You can talk about anything you want about him-- his childhood, the different novels he wrote, his family-- or all of those things.
