Daddio: Grand Caytion- Day 7

Wow.  What timing we have.  Jen and I spent most of yesterday afternoon pre-packing the van and getting basically everything packed into it except the tents, sleeping bags and beds.  And it was a good thing too.  We were able to get on the road at 7 a.m. and just as we got on the road, it started snowing.  As we got on I40 to get to Flagstaff, the snow and wind was blowing ferociously:
We drove slowly and got through Flagstaff.  Within an hour we were out of the high elevations, where it was warm, but the winds were still kicking up dust and we drove through duststorms for over an hour:
We stopped at a gas station about half an hour ago and learned that they just closed I40 in Flagstaff due to blizzard conditions.  Thus, if we hadn't had prepacked for three hours yesterday, we'd be stuck in Flagstaff right now.  Whew.

I'll try to post up pictures of some of the specific things we did on the trip while we drive today.
