This book is about a twelve year old buy named Percy Jackson who goes to Yancey Academy and he finds out that he is really a half-blood. A half-blood is half human and half god. He goes on an adventure with his friends to return the master bolt to Zeus. My favorite part of the book was when the pen turned into a sword because it was exciting. My favorite character in the book is Percy Jackson because he is the son of Poseidon. I really liked the book and I really think other people should read this book. I feel really excited about finishing a book by myself.
