Last Monday was Columbus Day, when many people celebrate the arrival of Christopher Columbus to the New World (when he landed in the Americas). For today's blog of the day, I want you to write to pretend that you were one of the sailors on Christopher Columbus' boats (the Nina, the Pinta and the Santa Maria) and write a diary entry for the night right after you landed in the New World.
For your entry, you'll need to do some research on Christopher Columbus and his expedition to the new world. You can get information from Factmonster, Wikipedia or even just a Google search. Your diary entry needs to be at least four paragraphs.
