Mommio: Word Challenge

Write a sentence for each word.  
Anyone who can come up with a complete sentence that makes sense for each word gets a dollar!
convoluted- (adjective) twisted, complicated, involved
Although many people bought A Brief History of Time, few could follow its convoluted ideas and theories.


copious- (adjective) abundant, plentiful
The hostess had prepared copious amounts of food for the banquet.


corroborate- (verb) to confirm, verify
Roberto was able to corroborate his friend's story by showing the receipt that proved that they were indeed at a restaurant that night.
