Avery: Blog Of The Day

Patras
Patras is Greece's third largest urban area located in west Greece. The population there is 222,460. Patras has a Mediterranean climate. For example, they have very cold winters, and very hot summers. In the spring and fall it is very wet. Their fall is wetter than their spring. A long time ago a lot of people, from three different villages came to live in Patras. They formed buildings, houses and many other things.
Today, in modern time, Patras is a beautiful place to live. They have some nice statues, a mayor (Yannis Dimaras) and a nice museum.  Their museum is all about Patras from the past. About how it used to look and the people that used it live there. Here is a picture of a small exhibit inside the museum.
