Daddio: 7/6/11 Blog of the Day


For today's post, I want you to write a short suspense story.  A suspense story is one where the characters are in some sort of danger-- often the nature and source of the danger is a mystery to the characters. The author writes the story so that the reader worries about the characters and whether they'll be hurt or killed.

The catch is that your suspense story needs to start with the following sentence:

"Everyone in the car would have been fine, if they simply hadn't stopped to pick up the stranger by the side of the road."
