We planted watermelon for the first time this year, Kiki's favorite. So we were all so excited to see
them sitting in the garden!
After reading about when the "right" time to harvest them is, we decided it was time to pick a couple of them. Boy was Kiki happy! Aren't they pretty?
Unfortunately, we have learned a new garden lesson....we picked them too early and they are not ready to eat. Sad, sad day. But we still have more growing out there and we know to wait much longer this time.
