The Vets
By Connor
Once upon a time there was a goat farm in a small town.  This town was known as Jamestown.  At the farm all the goats got sick and they needed animal medicine.  So the farmer, whose name was John, called all the best vets in town.  The door to the barn, where the goats were kept, opened with a creak and in walked Fred a tall, intelligent, and fancy looking vet.  Fred was soon joined by his partners Matt and Richard.  The three vets sat together in the middle of the barn looking at all the goats.  They gave the goats some kind of medicine that looked more like hay or grass.  The three vets went off looking for another group of animals to help.  Sure enough there were more goats in farms throughout Jamestown.  After days of helping people's animals something happened. Matt, the short and skinny vet, had gotten sick from one of the goats.  The vets went to a doctor and found out the goats were spreading the Red Death which people thought had been stopped since Edgar Allen Poe's time.   Eventually it was discovered that the goats had colds.  It was also discovered that the reason that the Red Death didn't happen to goats is because they are immune to it.  Soon the vets drew blood from the goats to make a vaccine for the Red Death.  The vets became famous for putting an end to the Red Death. The End or is it?
