It is Popo's Birthday! In honor of this beautiful occasion, I want each of you to write a poem made up of four couplets in a row (and thus, an eight-line poem). Remember the rules we gave for writing couplets in last week's blog of the day. Make sure that the poem is about Popo and how awesome he is now that he's forty-two!

Many thanks to all 100 toes. I had a wonderful birthday today. Being with Nana; reading your poems on the 100 Toes site; eating lunch with Nana, L.D. and Mary; and going to see the Green Hornet at the movie. But the best part was seeing all of you this evening and reading my birthday cards. I am going to take my coffee cups to the office and use them every day. And thanks to Gabe and Marney for the skit show. You are the all the best. I love you. Thank you for making my birthday special. Smell you later. Popo
