Daddio: Letterboxing!

We went and picked thirty pounds of apples today in Mason, Texas at the Sonlight Apple Orchard, but I figured I'd let the kids post up about that.  Instead, I'll tell you about our letterbox at the Mason Public Library.  It was the Old Yeller Letterbox, which was appropriate because the author of Old Yeller, Fred Gipson, was from Mason, Texas.

Out in front of the library was a sculpture of Old Yeller:

Mason was a pretty cool town, and I really liked the name.
