Mommio: More Poe Reciting Poe

This week in our Poe unit study we are still concentrating on his poetry. The kids all loved The Raven and are working on memorizing parts of it to do a group recitation that we will record later. Yesterday we studied Eldorado and that was a big hit with the kids too. Several of them are also memorizing that one, and we learned a lot about rhyme, rhythm, alliteration, rhyme schemes and how to become better writers in general. All the kids love watching the animated versions of Poe reciting his own poetry and asked that I put these up on the blog.
