Dear Mom,
I experienced something really scary last Saturday night, a volcano erupted in Iceland where I live. All the flights got canceled and we were stranded. The police tried helping us by making us all leave. I was very scared because there were more eruptions. We are still in Iceland and we are safe now. I don't know when I am going to be able to go back to my home. It could last until tomorrow or two years from now.
