Avery: Blog Of The Day

One day a boy named Carl thought that he could hold the sun. "Mom do you think that someone can hold the sun one day?", asked Carl. "No. But you can use your imagination and find a way to make it look like you are holding the sun.", answered his mom. So then Carl went down to the beach (he lives on the beach) and sat on a broken down flag pole. "How can I hold the sun? Maybe I can ... no that won't work. Well, maybe I... nope that won't work. I can't think of anything. How can I think if I have no ideas?" So then he got off the pole and went closer to the water and sat on the ground. "Hi Carl. Do you want to go swimming with me and the other kids?", asked Lulu. " Who are the other kids?", asked Carl. " You now them. Jimmy, Jake, Carlos, Avery, and Mandy.", answered Lulu. "I'll go." "Awesome!" So then all the kids went into the water and swam, splashed, and played on the water slide. Then, when the sun was going down all the kids got out of the water and sat around the pole. " Hey, I know how to hold the sun.", said Carl as he got on top of the pole. He put his hands around the sun! "Carl, it looks like you are holding the sun! Can I try it?", asked Lulu. "Sure, I have to go back up to my house for dinner anyways.", answered Carl. He ran back to his house and started yelling. "Mom I made it look like I was holding the sun!" "That's great. Now let's eat." Said his mom.
THE END
