Daddio: 6/2/10 Blog of the Day

I've started a story that you'll read below.  For today's blog of the day, I want you to finish the story.

Jerry Johnson was scared.  He was traveling to visit his father in Alaska, and for the very first time in his life, he was going all by himself.  His mom walked him to the plane, and a flight attendant walked him to his seat.  He'd never flown before and was terrified.  He knew that planes were safe, but he still worried.  With his knuckles clamped tight onto the seat rests, JerryD looked at the fat lady sitting next to him and gave her a nervous smile.  As the engines warmed up for take off, the Captain came over the intercom and announced, "Alright folks, we're next for takeoff.  The flight should be a short two hour flight, but we're expecting some turbulence and bad weather.  But nothing to worry about.  But keep your seat belts on for the flight.  Thank you."  The plane started rushing down the landing strip and Jerry took a big, terrified gulp.
