Mommio: Surgery Went Well

Connor's surgery went well last night. The doctor said it is an infection for sure, lots of yellow pussy stuff was stuck inside the knee cap.  We'll have to wait several days to find out exactly what type of infection.  They also removed both of the new plates that were put in his knee last month, it is easier to clean and cure the infection without the plates.  They think they caught it early enough that it will not be too difficult to clear up.  Around midnight we got to see him in the recovery room...

He was really tired and didn't want to open his eyes, but not in any pain.  Last night went pretty well and we all managed to get a little sleep.  He is still feeling okay this morning, not much pain.  So,now we are waiting to hear from his big doctor to find out the next step.  It's gonna be a long week!
