Gabe: Birds

We had Adventure Club on Wednesday at Robin's house with the homeschool group. We learned a lot about birds. Mom taught us how to dissect owl pellets, there were lots of bones in mine. The owl pellets were really cool but they were hard like a nut. We had a snack called Pigeon Poop, it had pretzels, cereal, marshmallows and chocolate. We went on a bird hunt with Robin. Robin taught us that she has lots of different kinds of birds at her house. I think we saw a sparrow and it was black. It was very, very, very fun.

Sounds like a great Adventure Club day...I loved the Pigeon Poop too...we need to make some for us. I wonder how the bird watching would be in my backyard. There is a Blue Heron on the shed down at the lake everyday fishing. I see all kinds of birds on the fence and in the trees...we should count them. Good post...

That pigeon poop was awesome! It seems you were all super interested in the owl pellets, that was a cool experiment. You should give your mom a hug for setting it up. She's awesome that way.
