Mommio: Cooking With Kids- Bird Nest

This week the younger kids made bird nest treats with Nana and I for our letter E cooking project.  It was quick, easy and fun!  And for some reason none of the kids really like rice krispie treats so I am still enjoying them a few days later.

 First they made the traditional rice krispie treat recipe.

Then they smashed a handful of the gooey mess into a muffin tin to form the nest.

Then we set the nests on a baking sheet and the kids loaded them up with Eggs (jellybeans).
