2009 Roadtrip: Update #1

Hey HEY! Technology is so amazing that we're currently in the van, going 70 mph on I-10 towards Houston while I upload pictures of my roadtrip and post this thread. So why not take advantage of this technology and update you on EVERY SINGLE MINUTE OF OUR ROADTRIP!

Well-- maybe not every minute, but I'll try to update as we go along. We hit the road at 5:08 am central time, and as I post this, it's almost 8:10- so we're three hours into the trip. We're just outside of Katy, Texas (a suburb of Houston) and apparently there's been a skunk killed because the stench is overpowering. Just to prove where we are, here's a blurry shot of the Igloo factory, famous for making ice coolers:
