Mommio: The Trip Is Coming

The days are speeding by and it is almost time to leave on our family Christmas vacation!  We are headed to Nags Head on the outer banks of North Carolina for two nice weeks of together time.  We are all so excited about the trip and so happy that Daddio is well enough to go.  It is off-season at the beach right now so we are able to stay here, in this beautiful house right on the beach.  Things that the kids have said they are most excited about: the hot tub at the house, seeing the sand dunes where the Wright Brothers flew their planes, the hot tub, building a sand snowman, the hot tub, playing lots of games, the hot tub, seeing Roanoke since they learned all about it, the hot tob, marathons of D&D, the hot tub and SPENDING SO MUCH TIME WITH DADDY. What I am looking forward to the most: family time without interruptions, watching the ocean (and watching the kids watch the ocean) and visiting lighthouses. It's going to be hard to come home.  We have created a lot of wonderful family traditions over the years, but going on vacations for Christmas has got to be the best!
