Daddio: 8/25/10 Blog of the Day

For today's blog of the day, I want you to research Alabama (younger kids can go to Factmonster and older kids can use Wikipedia).  Pick one aspect of Alabama and write a two paragraph report on the subject you chose.  So, for example, you could write about a historical event that occurred in Alabama, or the role Alabama played in a historical event, or you could write about a famous person that came from Alabama.  As long as it's related to Alabama, it's good.  What I don't want you to do is to just write a general report about Alabama-- it needs to be about just one special subject that involves Alabama.
