Groundhog's Day
A poem by Avery Jones
I wait in my hole and look at the giants
The mayor would look down for me
There was an attorney and a few of his clients
The mayor would look down for me
There was an attorney and a few of his clients
I got so nervous I was about to pee
There was not much time
Until I had to climb
Come out already
I'm waiting for the hog
Yelled my friend Freddy
Yelled my friend Freddy
In the cold winter fog
It came out of the whole and looked at us
Then a tons of kids looked at it from their bus
