Avery: Blog Of The Day 2

Killer Lincoln
By Avery Jones
I was walking slowly in the woods, hunting down large animals and human beings.  There wasn't much to see there.  Just a ton of trees and mist.  Every now and then I'd see my friends running through the trees and eating small rodents.  Some vampires were just to desperate.  They would go back to the cave and make up some story about how they killed thousands of humans that day.
It was hunting season and there was only one person (other than the bullets flying through trees) that we would avoid, Abraham Lincoln.  His mother was killed by a vampire.  And that vampire was me.  He was trying to kill every single one of us until he found me.  I was the lead vamp in town, everyone liked me and when and if he killed me all the others would die a horrifying death.
There was a log cabin sitting next to the woods.  That was Lincoln's house that he built with his dad as a young boy.  I would stalk him every day and night, trying to find out how his mind works.  I can read a human being's mind.  But I didn't want him to see me, so I didn't get close enough.  He walked around a lot, taking his top hat off and then putting it back on.  I wish I could have gotten close, he knows how us vampires work.  He knows we can't get  to close.
I decided to prepare myself for the final battle.  I took bullet proof vest, just in case he had stakes, and I'm not talking about the juicy ones.  I walked in to his cabin, breaking down his old wooden door.  He looked at me in surprise.  He knew I was the leader, what he didn't know is that I killed his mother.  He came at me with a stake and it didn't even leave a scratch on my vest.  He was surprised that I came up with the idea.  He grabbed a small cross and held it to my arm.  Oh how it burned on my pale skin.
"Wait!", I said, "Before you kill me I think you would like to know something."
"Know what?!", yelled Lincoln, "I already know your the leader of the vampires.  You have the symbols on your neck that proves it."
"That's not it.  I'm the vampire that killed your old, beloved mother.  I'm the one sucked all the blood out of her body."
He screamed and came running at me with a wooden stake.  It went all the way through my vest and scratched me in the chest.  I pushed him away and he fell to the ground.
"But you can still be with her you know.  She's just a vampire and she knows that I'm here right now.  She doesn't care though. You can let me turn you into one and you two can live happily ever after.",
He stood there and fell to the ground crying.  I walked to him and held his shoulder.  He turned his head and I bit his long neck.
THE END
