Connor: Blog of The Day

Dear Mommio,   I love learning about all kinds of things from you. If it's from Shakespeare or Edgar A. Poe it is always interesting.  My favorite unit was about Homer's epic poems.  To me you are the best teacher evermore.  I will go to Public school nevermore.  I love you Mommio.
Love,
Connor

Daddio: Birthday Update

Ahhhhhh.  This is actually turning out to be a great birthday.  I woke up this morning and the swelling is a lot better.  The incision still burns, but not as bad.  The internal bruising, though, still hurts.  But most importantly... I "made business" for the first time since before I started throwing up last Friday.  Sweet sassy molassey.  That makes a man feel better.

I opened my birthday presents last night (the ones Connor and I bought at the game store a month ago) and got Last Night On Earth, a zombie board game:

Are You the Traitor, a magical/fantasy card game:

A D&D combat tracking pad:

And two sets of dice (you can never have enough dice).

Right now, Mommio and Gabe are making me eggs with soy cheese for breakfast.  It's going to be an awesome day.

Daddio: Best Day Ever

Next week is my birthday.  My 37th birthday.  It will be the greatest day that has ever been recorded in human history.  Are you excited?

Nana bought me a new bowling shirt which is totally awesome and looks freaking great.  I wore it bowling yesterday and had 2 100+ games (but just barely).  Convinced that my new bowling shirt was lucky, I wore it again today for our regular bowling game and... it wasn't so lucky.  Poor bowling today.

Ah well.  It turns out that you can have all the right equipment and clothing, but you still need the skill.  I'm working on it.  I'm working on it.

Avery: What I Did Yesterday

Yesterday Marney, Kiki, Dad, and I went to Mikenna's birthday party. She was turning five years old! When we first got there Mikenna showed us her kitten that she found at her house. They named him George Ghost because he popped out of the bushes like a ghost. After a few minutes we went to the table so that we could eat food and drink punch. After eating we went outside to put glitter in our hair and play some games. The first game we played is were we had to balance eggs on our spoons. Then we did the pinata. Elder was the one that made all the candy come out. Also we played in a bounce house. It was big and colorful and all of us could fit in it. When it was time for presents everyone was super excited. Mikenna liked the presents that everyone gave her. Marney,Kiki, and I gave her an earing holder for her earings. The birthday party was awesome!

Marney: Gabe's Birthday

Gabe's birthday is tomorrow. He made his cake at Nana's house. His cake is a target cake it broke in half. He said it was fun making the cake. Today he is going to sleep at 8 0'clock tonight because he is super excited about it.
