We didn't do much cooking in our cooking time today but it was lots of fun making Octopus Dogs (otherwise known as Spaghetti Dogs). First the kids cut up the hotdogs.
Then they stuck uncooked spaghetti through them (four- to make eight legs).
Then we boiled them for a few minutes and ate them up. The kids actually REALLY loved these so I think it might become a semi-regular lunch.

We made these, too! Although we ended up breaking the spaghetti in half and poking all over the dog bit so ours looked less octopusish. Nicolas ate his with ketchup (gack!)
