Memorial Day weekend and all of the sudden the quiet little beach we have been living on for a week was crowded...but that didn't stop us from relaxing on the beach this morning.
And the kids spent a lot of time building new entries for Daddio's long-distance sand castle building contest.
Max, Jack, Gabe and I went on a ten minute walk and found 11 jellyfish- some small blue ones and some large clear ones. We haven't seen any in the water at all but they are really cool to look at on shore. Tomorrow the kids are hoping to find another one to capture and watch for a while.
This afternoon we took a break for some grocery shopping, movie watching and game playing.
And after dinner we went out to the beach for some sunset swimming...
...which led to a night time dip in the pool.
Another great day at the beach- the kids are asking if we can move here. Homeschooling at the beach sure would be nice. Tomorrow some of the kids and I are waking up pre-sunrise to walk "to that really tall building down there at the end of the beach"- should be another fun adventure!
